An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Sterile Services Department as a Band 3 Sterile Services Technician. The post holder will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by ensuring the effective decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilisation and distribution of reusable medical devices and surgical instruments.

Working as part of a dedicated team, the successful candidate will adhere to national standards, local policies and quality management systems to ensure all equipment is processed safely and efficiently for use across clinical services. The role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work accurately under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and control.We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive individual with a strong commitment to quality and patient safety. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work in a busy environment where maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines are essential.By joining the Sterile Services Department, you will become part of a key service that directly supports patient care across the Trust. We offer comprehensive training, opportunities for development, and the chance to work within a supportive team committed to delivering excellence in decontamination services.

Working Pattern: 1st role: 37.5 hours 2nd role: 27.5 hours
